The Only Thing Funnier Than These 90’s Websites Is A 90’s Hairdo

The 1990’s saw the end of The Cosby Show and Cabbage Patch Kids and the beginning of the original Beverly Hills 90210 and Viagra [Spammers begin clapping.]

And, oh yeah, there was also this little invention called the Internet.

The Internet was in its infancy and web design was… let’s just say… immature.

Here are fifteen 90’s web designs (and one awesome 90’s hairdo) that will cause simultaneous feelings of pity, nausea and nostalgia.

NOTE:  The best way to view these images is to click on the first one and scroll through the rest by clicking on the left/right arrows at the bottom of the screen.

Hey – I bought that Yale Style Guide! Don’t knock it!
What’s worrying is how many “web designers” there are still churning this stuff out for small businesses who are quite pleased with it.

Apple’s website was actually not too bad compared to the others!!

By the way, you really ought to change your terminology… the Internet was invented way before the 90s. The Web (WWW) is what you are referring to. I know it sounds pedantic but it really is a massive difference!

I can remember searching Yahoo for ‘web design’ and 3 results came up, one of which was Yale’s style guide. 0_o
