This is where you\u2019ll add plugins, publish posts, change settings, add pages, edit your navigation menus, and more. It essentially holds all the stuff your visitors don\u2019t need to worry about, but you do.<\/p> The WordPress Dashboard is extremely simple to use, even if you aren\u2019t an experienced website designer or builder. On the left side of your screen, you\u2019ll find navigation links to everything you\u2019ll need to work with on your site, from monitoring comments to adding media.<\/p> As you add plugins, theme frameworks, and other tools to boost functionality, you\u2019ll see spots for them on your dashboard, too. One of its most significant perks is that it\u2019s widely supported, standards-friendly, and easy to extend\u2014exactly what you want for long-term SEO. <\/p> A WordPress site can be extremely fast, but performance depends a lot on your hosting, theme quality, and what you add on top. Plugins, themes, and widgets can impact speed and stability, which can also impact SEO.<\/p> You\u2019ll still need to stay on top of SEO best practices when you use WordPress.
