But you don\u2019t need customer testimonials from a huge corporation to benefit from them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customer testimonials can be short, like the one above, or much longer. Some companies post <a href=\"https:\/\/playplay.com\/blog\/customer-testimonial-videos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video testimonials<\/a>, which can prove highly persuasive, and many use photographs of the customer alongside his or her quote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember: You\u2019re establishing credibility. Anyone can make up a glowing quote and attribute it to \u201cAmy S.\u201d If you can supply the customer\u2019s full name, a link to his or her website, information about the customer\u2019s job title, and other identifying data, the credibility factor increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Are Testimonials So Important?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One study found that using customer testimonials resulted in a 62 percent increase in revenue per customer. Would you like to boost your revenue by that margin? I know I would.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s the recommendation that helps encourage people to buy your product or invest in your service. They know from customer testimonials that other people have tried it. Not only that, but they\u2019re raving about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two primary principles in play here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For one thing, people don\u2019t like to be first \u2014 unless, of course, they\u2019re in line to buy the latest iPhone. Think about it. If a customer is asked to try a new medication, he or she will likely ask how many others have taken it and whether it worked. If you use specifics \u2014 especially numbers \u2014 your customer testimonials become far more credible and persuasive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3 Customer Testimonial Examples For Business That Will Inspire You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve read thousands of customer testimonials over the years, and few stick out. However, I want to show you three that wowed me in terms of specificity and persuasiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. I also like that she talks about how the company shares her values and goals. That\u2019s a powerful marketing message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Blue Fountain Media<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Another great example comes from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluefountainmedia.com\/testimonials\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blue Fountain Media<\/a>. The testimonial itself mentions specifics \u2014 \u201cvibe, level of inquiry, feedback, and traffic\u201d \u2014 to show why he particularly likes this company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Customer testimonials can prove extremely persuasive in marketing, whether you retweet them from a satisfied customer or solicit them for posting on your blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s also a lot of variety in terms of how you can present them and what information to include. You might need to edit them down to get the best information from a longer review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever the case, start <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crazyegg.com\/blog\/customer-reviews-that-convert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">asking for testimonials<\/a> now.
