Template #1: Instant Buyers Upsell
This email is best used as the first message people receive after buying a product (or service) of yours. It works well in conjunction with a one-click upsell and will help to both reinforce the buying decision, leading to fewer refunds, and cross-sell your other products and services.
Subject Line: Thanks for purchasing <product name>! (Important info inside)
I want to thank and congratulate you for investing in <product name>. I’m so excited to welcome you aboard and hope it helps you <desired end result>. I’m sure it will. After all, it’s already done so for over <number> people all over the world in various different situations and scenarios.
There are a few important items you need to know…
#1: Your credit card will show a debit for $XX.XX from <your business name>.
#2: To begin using the product immediately, simply <insert download instructions here. If it’s physical, explain shipping times, etc.>.

Template #2: The Testimonial Congratulations
This email is a fantastic way to send out “newsworthy” announcements that people engage with. It also adds oodles of credibility and even creates a sense of community for people who aren’t yet customers. It goes like this.
Subject Line: Help me congratulate <name>…
Pretty exciting news today.
I want you to give a round of applause for <name>. He is a recent customer of <your product> and just sent me the results he got.
Here’s what he said.
So once again, I would like to personally congratulate <name> for taking action and implementing my strategies into his life. Good job, <name>!

Template #3: The “Busted Myth” Email
This is an interesting email because you’re flying in the face of what people normally think about a given subject. It can work for any audience with some slight modifications because every market has “best practices.” By going against those best practices and providing proof, you stand out as the dominate leader. And that brings in more sales.
Subject Line: This is going to piss some people off…
For the past 10… 20… probably 30+ years, everyone in our industry has simply “accepted” the fact that <insert a commonly held belief in your market>.
This has been a best practice in the industry for literally decades. People have sworn by it.
But what if it were all a big myth?
